    Proyecto cofinanciado por el Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad dentro de la convocatoria 2012 del Programa Nacional de Cooperación Publico-Privada Subprograma INNPACTO dentro de la línea instrumental de articulación e internacionalización del sistema, enmarcado en el Plan Nacional de Investigación Científica, Desarrollo e Innovación Tecnológica 2008-2011 bajo el numero de expediente IPT-2012-0871-430000 y por el FEDER (Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional)

    El proyecto ConTV-LAB, tiene dos objetivos diferenciados que se realimentan entre si, ambos generadores de resultados con una gran demanda y elevada capacidad de desarrollo industrial a nivel internacional, identificada por la experiencia real de los miembros del consorcio en el mercado de la TV conectada y los dispositivos de TV Digital basados en Android:

    • Objetivo 1: El desarrollo de un servicio de laboratorio distribuido que permita la prueba, validación y certificación de las aplicaciones desarrolladas por terceros para los diferentes entornos de televisión conectada, de forma que se facilite la labor de los creadores de contenidos digitales en el desarrollo de aplicaciones y servicios para diferentes dispositivos y televisores en los mercados de diferentes países, con un único punto de prueba, verificación y certificación.
    • Objetivo 2: La creación de la mejor implementación de dispositivo Android para Televisión, con desarrollo hardware y software que resuelva los problemas identificados en los sistemas e implementaciones actuales, permitiendo la exportación internacional de dicha implementación (tanto en forma de Dispositivos hardware con TV Digital como de licencias software) al aportar ventajas competitivas frente a los fabricantes actuales.

    Proyecto internacional liderado por ViLynx con la participación de España, Francia, Finlandia, Polonia y Turquía, cofinanciado por el CDTI (Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial) bajo el número de expediente IDI-20150143 y EUREKA-CELTICplus bajo el número de expediente C2013/2-4 y el FEDER (Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional)

    E3 aspira a diseñar un plataforma extremo a extremo que permita a todos Everybody acceso a servicios de Ehealth en cualquier lugar Everywhere.

    E3 aims to design an E2E platform able to allow everybody (provide low cost high quality video conference & e-health services reusing in-home infrastructures) access to e-health services everywhere (both rural & urban areas, both Patients & Professionals

    Project Main focus

    E3 is a cross domain project with a strong user representation. Leading edge technical competence in human-computer interaction, communication systems & videoconference technology is provided by the associated universities/research centres. The industrial representation includes specialised equipment manufacturers & communication operators with experience in providing services in the ehealth sector via healthcare networks & household´s city networks

    E3 exploits & extends the results from CELTIC projects HDVIPER “High Definition Videoconferencing over IP EnviRonment” in terms of videoconfering and HIPERMED “HIgh PERformance teleMEDicine platform” in terms of telemedicine SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) platform over IP (Internet )

    E3 focus on 3 main scenarios: Professional to Professional (will contribute to facilitate crucial collaboration between doctors for maintaining an increasing expertise & then ensuring a high quality of care for everybody everywhere), Professional to Patient (working 3 main areas: a) Design, implement and demonstrate prototypes of applications supported by the platform integrating new eHealth services into a unified user interface based on Smart TV, Mobile and Virtual Wall, b) Move current eHealth services from the health care centre to the Patients’ home & Remote doctor office without losing quality c) Add a secure reliable residential gateway with support for monitoring the network connection between the hospital & patient’s home. Patient to Patient Scenario will allow to intercommunicate among them and with their friends & relatives using the E3 videoconference solution

    WP2 will create a common technological platform fulfilling the requirements of these scenarios, providing extended high definition videoconferencing services at a reduce cost, & will focus on mobile and home

    The expected impact is improved productivity based on both lower services costs and higher productivity per doctor in the healthcare chains affected, new products from equipment manufacturers, new eHealth applications, increasing traffic volumes and a better utilization of the communication infrastructure due to resource sharing

    ViLynx is working to adapt its indexing and summarizing solution to meet Ehealth video requiremetns for both professional and patient scenarios

    Approach

    Telemedicine is not a specific technique or piece of equipment; it is a process of delivering healthcare services. It involves combining traditional medical care with the efficiency of current telecommunications technology to deliver health care on a global scale. The union of health care and ICT provides the opportunity to expand the availability and affordability of health care services, particularly access to specialists. Telemedicine’s benefits include: improved quality of care, more educational opportunities for health care providers, lower costs and the potential for economic growth. The services that the E3 project is covering are features on the client, recording service, marker service, multiparty service, reporting tool service, secure sessions, medical image sharing service, marker service, cards sharing, sensors integration, SIP registrar, broadcast control service as well as HIPERMED and HDVIPER legacy services

    Main results

    E3 has deployed the First 3D telesurgery : transmission of both ENT and heart surgeries at the “Ecole de Chirurgie de Nancy Lorraine, Université de Lorraine, CHRU de Nancy” last 29th september 2015

    E3 project has been awarded “eVIA INNOVA Bronze Award” last 4th November 2015. eVIA is the Spanish Technological Platform for both eHealth and independent and active life (Plataforma de Tecnologías para la Salud y la Vida Activa e Independiente)

    E3 has deployed the First simultaneous multisite (Nancy-Lorraine-France, Espoo-Helsinki-Finland, Pozna-Poland) 2D and 3D Robotic and Endoscopic Surgeries last 14th June 2016
